Swan Chemical Inc. Appoints Chris Chaousy as its New Senior Account Manager

Swan Chemical Inc. (SCI), the US subsidiary of Thomas Swan & Co. Ltd. announced today that it has appointed Chris Chaousy as Senior Account Manager.

Chris joins SCI from Coal Fillers, Inc. where he was Global Sales Manager. Prior to that, he served as Senior Strategic Buyer at Calgon Carbon Corporation.

Chris brings with him considerable experience in the tire & rubber industry as well as the paint & coatings industry. He has been actively involved in these industries, having held numerous leadership roles in various trade groups including; Past Board Chair – Pittsburgh Society of Coating Technologies (Pittsburgh, PA), Current Treasurer – American Chemical Society, Southern Rubber Group (Savannah, GA) and Current Board Chair – American Chemical Society, Ohio Rubber Group (Bath, OH).

Commenting on the appointment Jeff DeWerth, Head of North American Sales for SCI said: “We are very excited to have Chris join the SCI team. Chris brings a wealth of paint and coatings industry knowledge, along with tire and rubber industry experience, both of which are important, high growth segments of our business.
